Elisabet Cerrato Guri
Elisabet Cerrato has been a teacher of procedural law at the Faculty of Law of the URV since 2004, and extraordinary doctorate award from the URV. She is the author of two monographs on civil execution and has collaborated in different collective works. She has more than twenty publications in prestigious journals, both national and international. She has participated as a speaker at various national and international conferences and congresses. Her main lines of research are private civil execution and evidence law. She is member of the Consolidated Research Group "Evidence Law", recognized by the Generalitat of Catalonia, and stands out her participation in the consolidated national research projects "The civil procedural execution: national and international aspects" and "Procedural aspects of the creditors' contest", as well as the European project Daphne III Gender violence: protocolos for the protection of victims and effectiveness of protection orders. Towards an efficient implementation of directive 2011/99/EU. She has held several research stays at the University of Bologna (2008) and the University of Oxford (2014 and 2015). She is part of the coordinating team of the University Master in Business and Contract Law of the URV. She is the co-founder of the first Spin-off in Social Sciences of the URV, LitiGest, dedicated to solving the serious problem of void judicial auctions, which has earned the Tarragona Impulsa Award for the best business idea 2017 and the second prize of the program of companies accelerator of Tarragona Open Future 2018. Finally, she is a member of the Patronage of the Foundation of the Rovira i Virgili University since July 2018.
